It was hot so one of the first things we did was walk down to the Botanic Garden to wade in the creek. The kids LOVED it.
It was very shallow in the beginning, just getting our feet wet but before long the kids were waist deep.
Ez was the first to go down. :)
Gemma loved being in the water. She doesn't love the pool so much but since she could stand she was a very happy camper.
She really enjoyed splashing...
Until she got water in her own eyes. She recovered quickly though!

I took about eight shots of these two and this was the only on in which neither one had their eyes shut!. :)
Gemma gave Aunt Jen a kiss. That's a big deal- she's not loose with her kisses!

i was completely shocked to see your blog updated! ha ha. did school start back today? it started here in AVL. these are nice pictures, makes me miss you guys! and also a good reminder to take my current house guests down to the river this weekend.
